is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in
accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with
additional information included in this notice. This announcement
constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a
written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number
F25600-99-T0300 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The
solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those
in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-10. This acquisition
is reserved exclusively for small business concerns and is 100%
set-aside. The Standard Industrial Classification code is 3669 --
Communication Equipment, Not Elsewhere Classified (NEC), and the small
business size standard is 750 employees. The government intends to
issue a purchase order for (1500 each) Digital Carbon Monoxide
Detector/Peak Level Memory with Battery Backup/Multiple Configurations.
All devices shall be UL listed and capable of digital readout
withcontinuous digital display of all CO levels from 0-999 PPM. Peak
level memory shall recall the highest danger level. In the event of
power outage, the Battery Backup shall operate the unit for a minimum
of (4) four hours using standard commercial 9 volt batteries. MFG:
Nighthawk, MFG P/N: 900-0071. No substitutions allowed. Requested
delivery date is 15 Apr 99 or earlier. FOB Destination to Offutt AFB,
NE 68123 requested. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to
Offerors, applies to this acquisition. The provision at FAR 52.212-3,

to this acquisition and offerors shall include a completed copy of this
