commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart
12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this
notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, a written
solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is
DAAB18-99-Q-3148 is issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for
identification purposes. The solicitation document and incorporated
provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition
Circular 97-8. This acquisition is 100% set aside for small business.
The requirement is as follows: 5 each, Broad-band RF Power Amplifier,
225-400 MHz, 50/100/150/200 Watt switch select output, Input Power 1.5
to 25 Watts, I/O Impedance 50 Ohms nominal, Input VSWR:1.5 to 1 max,
Harmonic Distortion: .40 dBc max, Spurious Emissions: .60 dBc max @
200W, Load VSWR: 2.0:1 max full output, gain variation:<1.0dB, Duty
Cycle: 100% to 40 degree C; 10 min. on/20 min. off to 50 degree C,
recieve frequency range: 243-270 MHz, Gain: 35 dB min.(preamp on, FM
only), Noise Figure: </=0.7 dB (unit off), Output: >/= 4.5 dB
(3.5 dB typical), GENERAL: must be no larger than 5-3/4" wide X 18"
long X 10" high, RF Input connector must be in front of the unit, RF
Output must be in the rear of the unit, must be 19" rack mountable, RF
Amplifier must work with AN/PSC-5 Ultra High Frequency radio including
Demand Assigned Multiple Access (DAMA) modes, I/O Connector: 9-pin
D-sub female, Supply Requirements: 28 VDC @ 25 A nominal for 200 Watt
out, RF Connectors: N-Type jack, output power metering indicator,
weight: not to exceed 25 pounds. FOB Destination pricing only (Fort
Campbell, KY). All responsible sources may submit an offer, which if
received in a timely manner, shall be considered by the agency.
