B-OPEN BRIEFING ON THE PROGRESS OF THE DESIGN WORK FOR THREE OSEP LONGITUDINAL EVALUATIONS" B- The U.S. Department of Education in sponsoring an open briefing on the progress of the design work for three OSEP Longitudinal Evaluations. The purpose of this open briefing is to provide information for all potential offerors on the progress of 1) The Elementary Longitudinal Study, 2) The Study of the Impact and Implementation of IDEA'97, and 3) The Professional Development Study. We intend for each of these current design tasks to be released as open RFPs in the coming year. This briefing will provide an opportunity for potential offerors, who wish to bid on the contracts, to obtain information in implementing these evaluations. In addition it will provide information on the design work to date. The briefing will take place on March 10, 1999,from 1:00-4:00pm at the US Department of Education, Mary E.
