The government intends to procure the following requirement as a sole source acquisition from Aydin Telemetry of Newton PA the following items: 1 each PCU 800 Series Programmable Conditioning Unit with 5MHz Crystal (P/N: PCU-808-12), 1 each Time Code Card with Track Split (P/N: TTE-100-4), 1 each Eight (8) Channel Bridge Conditioner Card (P/N: SCC-108-1), 1 each Programmable Gain Analog Multiplexer Card (P/N: AMC-316-1), and 1 each Bus monitor with Time Tag Card (P/N: BMC-553-2 MIL-STD-1553). This instrumentation equipment will be used by 412 Test Wing engineers in a lab environment for format development, trouble shooting, programming, and circuit card testing utilizing existing Aydin Telemetry instrumentation equipment. No RFQ will be prepared or made available for distribution. This award will be issued on the basis of other than full and open competition, in accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1 as stated requirements can only be satisfied by the manufacturer of these items. The solicitation is anticipated to be issued o/a 9 March 1999. Facsimile responses are acceptable and must be received on or before the COB on the closing date stated above. Telephone requests to be placed on the mailing list will not be honored. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, all responsible sources shall submit information which clearly demonstrates their ability to provide this item. This information must be received by the Contracting Officer within fiften (15) days of the publication of this announcement. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
