You are notified that the following changes are made: NASA plans to award subject procurement to Structural Dynamics Research for maintenance on exisitng proprietary software for the following reasons. NASA has three Hp3565S modal data acquisition and analysis systems to support a branch s requirements for ground vibration tests of both fixed-wing and rotary-wing modals. The systems are each configured about an SGI Indigo2 host computer which runs under the IRIX operating system. Currently, all testing and data processing is controlled by SDRC I-DEAS Standard Measurement and Measurement- HP3565S, the signal processing/data acquisition software modules are resident on the host computer. Experimental modal analysis work being conducted in the branch relies on the SDRC I-DEAS Test, Modal, and associated Post Processing modules, also installed on the SGI computers, which allows thereduction and interpretation of the associated data. The due date for receipt of quotes is not extended. Documents related to this procurement are available over the Internet and are in Microsoft Office Suite (Word 6.0, Excel 5.0, or PowerPoint 4.0) format and will reside on a World Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWW browser application.
