MILLER, Contracting Officer (617) 75304330 The Defense Contract Management District East (DCMDE-FAB) plans to issue a solicitation resulting in award of a contract for operating, managing, and maintaining a cafeteria-type restaurant. The contractor shall provide necessary labor, supervision, materials, and equipment to establish, operate, manage, and maintain, in the name of the contractor, a cafeteria-type restaurant and agree to pay monthly, to the Post Restaurant fund, a commission on the gross monthly sales. Operation shall include the right to store, prepare, sell food, dairy products, beverages (non-alcoholic), and other similar items as the Fund may from time to time give written approval. The cafeteria is to be operated for the benefit of approximately 1,500 military and Federal employees who occupy the Barnes Building, 495 Summer Street, Boston, MA. 02210-2184. The contract period will be a base year plus four(one year)option years. Solicitation package will be available on 031599 at no charge.
