The DLA Administrative Support Center (DASC) intends to award a purchase order, following Simplified Acquisition Procedures, and on a sole source basis, to the Hyatt Regency Crystal City, in Arlington, Virginia, for conference and meeting facilities for the 1999 OSD/Community Conference to be held March 22 -- 25, 1999. The Hyatt has been selected due to availability of dates and space requirements for up to 600 people, to include sleeping rooms, meeting rooms, and breakout rooms for numerous groups. The services to be provided include telephone lines hook ups, audio & visual services, copier services, and meeting room accommodations and setup. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. However, all written responses received by Feb. 26, 1999, will be considered, providing there is sufficient information to enable evaluation of the services to meet the requirements of the agency.
