The Officer in Charge requires all labor, supervision, tools, materials, equipment and transportation necessary to perform testing, comprehensive maintenance, repairs, alterations and inspection of the Vertical Transportation Systems which includes equipment ranging from 300 to 30,000 pounds capacity at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Portsmouth, Virginia. The work identified shall be accomplished by means of a combination Firm Fixed Price and Indefinite Quantity type contract. The term shall be for a period of one year. The Government shall have the option to extend the term of the contract services for an additional period of one to twelve months. The total contract term, including exercise of any options shall not exceed 36 months. The proposed procurement listed herein is unrestricted.
