We are soliciting in-kind donations and/or sponsorship for the Eagleglen Golf Course's Couples Tournaments to be held at Elmendorf Air Force Base(AFB) on the following dates, 28 May 99, 23 July 99, and 27 August 99. These tournaments will be open to all base personnel and anyone authorized to use the facilities. These tournaments are going to be low keyed events designed to get the Elmendorf spouses involved, and make it a fun event for the families in our community. These tournaments will consist of male & female teams competing for fun, followed by a pot-luck barbecue. We are seeking sponsorship for food and beverages as well as door prizes such as tee markers, golf equipment, bags, and other related items. We would also like a grand prize such as airline tickets, trips, outings, fishing excursions, etc. We would also like to recieve tee prize gifts, tee markers, balls, divit repair tools, tees, towels, etc. Our course averages approximately 32,000 rounds of golf per season, with approximately 150 tournaments throughout this season. Advertising will be done at all areas of the base. Representation from the sponsor(s)/donor would be accepted and encouraged. Sponsors may set up boothes at the event and display banners. We would accept all or part sponsorship/donation for this event. All offers will be considered. More than one sponsor/donor may be accepted and additives will be considered. Requests for copies of this solicitation may be accepted no later than 10 May 1999. This is a solicitation for commercial sponsorship/donation by a nonappropriated funds instrumentality of the United States Government.
