The Defense Distribution Depot San Joaquin (Sharpe site) in Lathrop, CA has a requirement for a contractor to provide all labor and personnel to operate the swimming pool. This requirement shall include, but is not limited to, providing lifeguard service, swimming instruction and maintenance of pool operations. Contract period is anticipated to be from May 26, 1999 through September 6, 1999 with four (4) option year periods. All contractors shall be required to submit with their quote the following information: Each lifeguard must possess current qualifications in Standard First Aid (4 hours), Basic Lifeguarding or Lifeguarding, CPR for the Professional Rescuer, Title 22 First Aid or First Aid for Public Safety Personnel, Water Safety Instructor (if teaching swimming lessons) and a security check consisting of local police record checks in the area of child abuse.
