Service to be acquired is food service attendants at the Seymour Johnson Air Force Base Davis Dining Hall and the in-flight kitchen, four (4) meals per day, to include, but not limited to preparation of food, serving food, meals for in-flight, sanitation and upkeep of utensils, equipment maintenance and repair, facility cleanliness, and upkeep of outside grounds relative to the facility. Service shall include providing all personnel to accomplish tasks associated with running a food service facility. At times, contractor shall perform in contingency/exercise mode, providing qualified cooks and bakers. Subject solicitation is considered for competitive acquisition limited to eligible 8(a) concerns under Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code 5812. Estimated period of performance is a base year with four (4) pre-priced option years. Contract performance is expected to start 01 Apr 99. The proposed issue date for solicitation F31610-99-R0012 will be on or about 17 Feb 99. Proposed solicitation closing date will be on or about 19 mar 99.
