A qualified programmer shall perform the work and furnish equipment in accordance specific requirements and general conditions of the specifications. The contractor shall furnish all tools, labor, test equipment; hardware and materials needed to install Contractor Furnished Equipment (CFE). The contractor must be an ABB Instrumentation authorized installation representative trained in the proper installation and testing procedure of all existing equipment. They also must be authorized to assemble and fully test all installed equipment. This requirement is to ensure equipment is upgrade and compliant before the Y2K deadline in March 1999.
