this synopsis: The CNU-415B/E AMRAAM Container is a reuseable
controlled breathing, humidity controlled container constructed of
extruded aluminum. It is comprised of a cover assembly and base
assembly and incorporates an inner shock mitigating system comprised of
polythylene foam dunnage to protect four missiles during shipping,
handling and storage. The container features a missile restraint system
to prevent rotation and longitudinal movement. Side fork pockets, Mk 45
Handtruck endlift fittings, hoist/tiedown rings, sealing gasket,
records and desiccant holders, foam cushions to protect missile fins,
over-the-center tension type latches and stacking provisions. The
container will experience truck, rail (on-station movement only), air,
and transfer-at-sea operations embracing both Connected Replenishment
(CONREP) and Vertical Replenishment (VERTREP) methods of transfer.The
procurement quantity is as follow: Base Year, quantity 1 each for
first article,and production quantity of 132 each. Option Year I
through IV if exercised quantity of 33 each per option year. The
delivery time frame is as follow: first article shall be delivered FOB
Destination to NSWC IHD DET Earle, 120 days after contract award.
Production shall be delivered FOB Origin, 25 per month beginning 120
days after first article is approved. If first article is wavied
production quantity shall be delivered at quantity of 25 per month
after 120 days of contract award. Each Option Year quantity if
exercised, shall be delivered 120 days after exercise of option,
