Must be engineered to accept tote boxes measuring 15-1/2 inch W X 27-1/2 inch L X 9-1/2 inch H with a weight limit of 12 thru 65 LBS. MUST TRAVEL DOWN THE CHUTE INDEPENTLY WITHOUT DEFECTS OR INTERRUPTION, WITH PERMANENT GEL COATING ON WEAR SURFACES. THE GOVERNMENT WILL PROVIDE THE TOTE BOXES FOR TESTING AT CONTRACTOR FACILITY TO ENSURE TOTE BOXES WILL SLIDE DOWN FREELY OR WITHOUT INTERRUPTION. ACCEPTANCE IS SUBJECT TO THE CHUTE OPERATING BASED ON DESIGN/PERFORMANCE SPECIFICATIONS ABOVE. THE GOVERNMENT WILL INSTALL THE EQUIPMENT WITHIN 15 DAYS OF DELIVERY TO DESIGNATED SHIPPING POINT. A Site Visit is scheduled on 10 Feb. 1999, 2:00 PM,Pacific StandardTime. Contractor will be responsible for measuring existing structures to ensure prefabricated parts can be easily installed and match existing lines.
