RFP JC-RVI-8-04 for the operation of the Shreveport Job Corps Center located in Shreveport, Louisiana, will be available on the World Wide Web, Job Corps Acquisition Home Page, on or about February 16, 1999 at http://www/wdsc.org/jobcorps/schedule.html. It is anticipated that the resultant contract will be a cost-reimbursement plus fixed-fee for a 2-year base period from September 1, 1999 through August 31, 2001, plus three Governmental unilateral renewal options of one year each. The approximate average capacity strength is 250 residential students and 100 non-residential students; 155 males and 195 females. A pre-proposal conference will be convened at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 23, 1999 at the Shreveport Job Corps Center, 2815 Lillian Street, Shreveport, LA 71109. There will be a tour of the facility following the pre-proposal conference. Upon entering the main building, participants must report and register with Security. We recommend that you download the RFP prior to attending the pre-proposal conference. Proposals in response to this RFP will consist of Oral Presentations and written submissions as described in Section L of the RFP. Written portions of the proposal are due by 1:00 p.m. local time, Wednesday, April 14, 1999 to the Dallas Regional Office.
