This is a combination solicitation/synopsis for commercial items to be procured and shipped to: HQ AFSVA/SVPAL, 10100 Reunion Place, Suite 502, San Antonio, TX 78216-4138. HQ AFSVA/SVPAL requires 117 each of "The Practical Coach" 1/2" VHS Video. The video shall be 24 minutes and also required is a 65-page workbook and a pocket reminder card. HQ AFSVA/SVPAL also requires 177 each of "Walk Awhile in My Shoes" 1/2" VHA video. The video shall be 20 minutes and also required is a Leader's guide and 10 copies of the book. There will be no hard copies of this solicitation and it will not be available on a website. Clauses to be included shall be: FAR 11.401(a), FAR 32.908, FAR 46.401(b) and FAR 46.503. Mr. Stephen J. Plaisted has been appointed as Ombudsman to hear concerns from offerors, or potential offerors, during the proposal development. The purpose of the Ombudsman is to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. Existence of an Ombudsman does not diminish the authority of the program director or the contracting officer.
