This project consist of providing for the replacement of the 2 gas fired steam boilers located in bldg 304 and convert bldgs 298, 302, 303, 313, and 323 from steam heating systems supplied by the main plant to individual high efficiency gas fired hot water boiler systems. Bldg 303 will remain as the only bldg served steam by the main plant. The associated electrical systems will be upgraded. Asbestos removel will be required. In addition, this project includes the replacement of seven 400 ton chillers and one 600 ton chiller with high efficiency units that use non CFC refrigerants. Work includes mechanical, electrical, and temperature control. The magnatude of this project is is between $1-5 million.
