This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format prescribed in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Newport, Rhode Island requires thirty-nine (39) LCD Active Matrix Display with Touch Screen Option. The proposed item must meet the following minimum specifications: Item cannot be larger than 19.6 inches(w), 19.7 inches (h), 10.3 inches (d) landscape; Pixel count of 1280 x 1024 landscape; front panel controls; touch screen; 150 degree viewing angle; 140 to 1 contrast ratio. Offerors may submit pricing for 39 ea. of either a 16", 17", 18", 19", or 20" inch Display. Offerors may be required to provide a demonstration of the proposed product(s). Any company proposing other than the original manufacturer shall submit evidence that it is authorized by the manufacturer to distribute these products and that the products are covered by the same warranty as the original manufacturer provides. Delivery shall be F.O.B. destination to NUWCDIVNPT, Newport, RI. Required Delivery Dates are: 10 ea., no later than 30 days after date of order (DADO); the remaining 29 ea., not later than 75 DADO. The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-04. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition with the following addenda: (a) The Standard Industrial Code (SIC) is 3577; the size standard is 500 employees. (b) The solicitation closing date is 99 FEB 16 at 2:00 p.m. local time, and the anticipated award date is 99 FEB 19.
