Janilea Bays, Contracting Officer, (202) 767-3782 This is a notice of intent from the Naval Research Laboratory to contract with Hewlitt Packard Company, Federal Business Center, 2101 Gaither Rd., Box 1487, Rockville, MD 20849-1487. The contractor shall provide upgrade to the Hewlitt Packard Frequency Agile Signal Simulator (HP FASS), Model 11. This upgrade will increase the HP FASS frequency range to 0.05 to 18 Giga Hertz (GHz), which can also be written as "50 to 18000 MHz". This expanded frequency is needed to support the simulation of frequency-agile radar emitters at high frequency. This is not a solicitation. No RFP will be issued on the basis of this Notice of Intent. Note 22 is applicable to this synopsis.
