The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command, Armament Research, Development and Engineering Center (TACOM-ARDEC), Picatinny Arsenal, New Jersey, 07806-5000, intends to issue a Sole Source Contract to IDC, Merrick, NY 11566 for the production of a quantity of 950 Shock Isolation Plate Assembly (SIPA) for the Automatic Fire Control System Computer Unit (ACU) used on the M109A6 Paladin. The SIPA is the mounting interface between the ACU and the M109A6 Paladin and provide shock and vibration isolation to the ACU. It will be the responsibility of IDC to provide the Government with all required hardware and assemble the SIPA for installation in to the M109A6 Paladin. IDC, Merrick, NY 11566 has been prequalified for this effort based on a source controlled drawing established by the Government.
