Jon.C.Schultz@lerc.nasa.gov. NASA/LeRC plans to issue a Request for
Quotation (RFQ) for the purchase of the enhancement of real-time sensor
validation technology software and documentation. This procurement is
being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP).
NASA/LeRC intends to purchase the enhancememnt from Expert
Microsystems, Inc.,7932 County Trail Drive, Suite 1,Orangevale, CA
95662-2120. The authority for other than full and open competition is
10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1)- Only one responsible source and no other supplies
or services will satisfy agency requirements. As the co-developer
Expert Microsystems now maintains the sensor validation technology with
NASA Lewis and is uniquely qualified to perform this enhancement.Under
this effort further technology development will be performed for
application to a gas turbine engine test facility at Arnold Engineering
Development Center in Tennessee. The Government does not intend to
acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. See Note 26. See Note 22.

identified point of contact, their qualifications/capabilities. Such
qualifications/capabilities will be used solely for the purpose of
determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive
basis. Responses received after the 15 days or without the required
information will be considered nonresponsive to the synopsis and will
not be considered. A determination by the Government to not compete
this proposed effort on a full and open competitive basis, based upon
responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the
Government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this
notice. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be
