D -- GDE (MACRONI) SOFTWARE MAINTENANCE SOL NMA20299Q1000 DUE 012599 POC POC -- Toya Reynolds, Contract Specialist, 301-227-7826 IAW FAR 6.302-1(a)(ii) and (iii), the Government intends to procure commercial software maintenance agreements on a sole source basis from Macroni Integrated Sytems (formerly GDE). The procurment includes 4 each of the following SOCET SET Software licenses: Core, Stereo Visualization, Block Triangulation, APM, ATE, ITE, 3D Feature Ex., Tru Ortho, Ortho-Mosaic, Image Map, Perspective Scenes, SPOT, Digital PPDB, SSM, MC&G. Pursuant to FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other services will satisfy agency requirements. Award of any other source would result in duplication of costs that are not expected to be recovered through competition and unacceptable delays in fulfilling the agency's requirements.
