United States Army Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG), AZ has a requirement to enhance (ugrade) the contact and non-contact capabilities and operation of a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM). The manufacturer of the CMM is Poly and the model is a Galaxy 0286. The enhanced operation and capabilities of the CMM will be used for quality assurance, reverse engineering, modeling and simulation in both the contact and non-contact modes. This action is a 100% set-aside for small business under SIC code 3699 (750 employees or less). These CMM enhancements are considered commercial in nature and award will be based on acquisition of commercial items under FAR Part 12 using best value factors.
