This acquisition is for ambulance service to transport patients to and from Brooke Army Medical Center (BAMC) and other medical facilities within a three hundred mile radius. Aeromedical Evacuation service to and from local air fields is required. Transport may require BLS, ALS, or MIC units. Service is required 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The contractor is responsible for providing all labor, management, supervision, vehicles, supplies, equipment, transportation and all employees must meet education and training requirements. Criminal background checks are required. The contractor shall ensure that no minor children under the age 18 years old are transported to BAMC without a chaperone, parent/guardian or Medical Treatment Facility staff person, whose background check has been completed. Call Response time is 30 minutes. This is a small business set aside and will be processed under commercial item procedures. This requirement is for a base year and four one year options periods.
