SPECIAL NOTICE -- 1999 TACOM/INDUSTRY LOGISTICS DATA SYMPOSIUM SPECIAL NOTICE -- 1999 TACOM/INDUSTRY LOGISTICS DATA SYMPOSIUM. The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command, in conjunction with the Michigan Chapter of the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA) will host the 1999 TACOM/Industry Logistics Data Symposium April 27-29,1999 at the Northfield Hilton Hotel located in Troy, Michigan. This year's theme is "Future Logistics Perspectives -- Factory to the Foxhole". This annual symposium brings together government and industry personnel from around the country to discuss issues and concerns relevant to the constantly changing field of Acquisition Logistics. It is also a wonderful networking opportunity. It offers formal government and industry presentations, breakout sessions, displays, and demonstrations. This year's agenda features many notable speakers to include LTG Coburn, USA; LTG McDuffie, USA, (invited); MG Boyd, USA (invited); and MG Higginbotam, USMC (invited). A block of rooms have been reserved at the Northfield Hilton Hotel for those who require overnight lodging from 26-30 April 99 at a special symposium rate of $82.30 + tax per night for government (ID required) and $119.00 + tax pernight for industry. Please make your own room reservations by calling the hotel at (248) 879-2100. Identify yourself as attending the TACOM/NDIA Symposium in order to take advantage of these special rates. Please note that your reservations must be made by 12 April 99 to take advantage of these special rates.
