This is an open-season solicitation (Amendment 06 to Solicitation No. GS-03F-95-AYC-0002) for GSA FSS Multiple Award Schedule for Group 72, Part V (Household and Commercial Furnishings (including Draperies, Bedspreads, Drapery Hardware, Cubicle Curtains, Venetian Blinds, Vertical Blinds, and Window Shades)). Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 2391; size standard is 500 employees. Ten of twelve Special Item Numbers (SINs) will be 100% set-aside for small business. Solicitation will be issued on or about February 5, 1999. This notice is for new offerors only; firms already holding contracts under Schedule 72-V need not respond. Significant changes since the solicitation was last issued include a change in scope from nationwide to worldwide. Three SINS have been added: 493-B72A (Overseas (International) Products, 493-B83 (Overseas (International) for Fabric only), and 493-99 (Introduction of New Products). This is a standing solicitation issued under FAR Part 12, Commercial Items; therefore, proposals may be submitted at any time because there is no closing date. Contracts will be issued for a 5-year period from date of award and include a government option to extend for an additional 5 years. Contractors will be required to accept the government purchase card for purchases up to $2,500 when an agency elects the purchase card payment method. Contact points for locations outside the domestic scope (SINs 493-B72A and 493-B83) will be required in order to provide those locations with local assistance.
