US Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM), Fort Belvoir, VA
has a critical need for a doctoral level scientist to support the
establishment of a small team of multi-disciplinary scientists and
engineers to provide rapid access to the latest technology that can
support unique "field" requirement of this Intelligence command. This
command must support on-going Intelligence requirements from the field,
and must be able to rapidly take advantage of the existing science and
engineering solutions that may be available within government
laboratories and/or research and development organizations worldwide,
while at the same time perhaps utilizing a solution that is readily
available by adapting commercial resources. Individual must be able to
operate independently while being a part of a small multi-disciplinary
team of other scientists, engineers and military officers. Will write
doctrine for the Intelligence Community, assisting in the planning for
future system requirements. Individual will be work with National
Research Organizations to apply emerging technologies into the Army's
Information Operations Program. Also, will assist INSCOM in developing
a "Tool Box" of technologies which will require writing doctrine and
developing training so that upon crisis, this technology can be rapidly
inserted into the force. THERE IS NO FUNDING FOR A PERMANENT CHANGE OF
STATION (PCS) MOVE. Resumes shall be submitted which include
educational background and experiences. A PHD in Technical Sciences or
Mathematics is preferred; however, a MASTERS DEGREE in the Technical
Sciences or Mathematics is MANDATORY. A current clearance at the TOP
SECRET/SENSITIVE COMPARTMENTED INFORMATION (TS/SI) level is required.
