The Environmental Protection Agency has a requirement which may result in the award of up to two indefinite-delivery, indefinite quantity contracts for cast bronze plaques in support of the Office of Air and Radiation, Office of Atmospheric Programs, Atmospheric Pollution Prevention Division's ENERGY STAR Labeling Program. These plaques will be provided to participants who have achieved the program performance criteria for an energy-efficient building. Detailed specifications and drawings for three types of cast bronze plaques will be provided on the Internet at the following address: http://www.epa.gov/oamhpod1/admin_placement/9915814/index.htm. The Government intends to order a minimum of 125 units and a maximum of 5,000 units of each of the three items per contract period (plaque with permanent year piece, plaque with removable year piece and removable year piece only). The contract period of performance will be for one year, with two, one-year option periods, commencing in March or April 1999. Simplified procedures will be used for this commercial item acquisition. A request for proposals will be issued on or before February 5, 1999; and proposals will be due within one week of the solicitation issue date. All responsible small business concerns (SIC Code 5963) may submit a proposal for consideration by the Agency.
