This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation WILL NOT be issued. The solicitation number 301819Q045 for this Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-45. Simplified Acquisition Procedures will be followed. This is a 100% total set aside for small business. Standard Industrial Classification code 5261 applies. Multiple awards may result from this RFQ. A firm fixed price contract(s) will be awarded. The origin of the seed source is very important because local genotypes are better adapted to the local environmental conditions than those from different areas. For this reason, trees whose seed source is within 150 miles north and south; 300 miles east and west of Crab Orchard National Wildlife Refuge, Marion, Illinois are required. The Department of Interior, U.S. Fish and Wildlife reserves the right to award all or partial quantities based on unit price quotations for each item.
