The Department of State (DOS) intends to negotiate with Halifax Corporation, 5250 Cherokee Avenue, Alexandria, Virginia 22312 to provide on-going classified waste disposal services for three months under a purchase order. Halifax has been providing the Department classified waste materials and operating the disintegrating equipment under a contract. This three month service is needed to provide the Department with uninterrupted service while the Department solicits and awards a follow-on contract for these services on a competitive basis.
