The work includes, but is not limited to, the following: Disconnect and remove hose reel assemblies, associated piping, 80 horse power diesel engine and pump, 20 horse power electric pump, 5 horse power jockey pump, 700 gallon capacity foam concentrate storage tank, connected electric power panels. Design and provide a complete 800 gallon capacity, bladder tank proportioning system, tie it into the existing foam-water deluge sprinkler piping system and make the new system operable. The system includes: new bladder tank, new foam concentrate (reserve) storage tank, new proportioning controller, associate piping, controls, and power. Modify, refurbish and relocate the existing deluge valve and its trimmings. Reconnect the existing detection, activation and alarm system. Provide new controls and alarm for the new bladder proportioning system and tie them into the existing relocated control/alarm panel. Drawings and specifications can be purchased on a first come, first served basis, at the rate of $15. Requests will be accepted by mail only, and must include payment in the applicable amount by Cashier's Check, Money Order or Company Check made payable to the U.S. Coast Guard. The performance period is 120 calendar days after receipts of Notice to Proceed. The procurement is subject to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program and is open to large and small business participation. The applicable SIC code is 1731.
