of an EPDM membrane over re-roof board; over built-up roof, over ridged
insulation; on metal decking. Removal of existing cants, base flashing,
edge flashing, built-in gutter lining and flashing at roof
penetrations. The original built-up roof system and base flashing which
contain asbestos shall be disposed of as required by applicable State
and/or Federal directives. Removal of antenna support tower. Removal of
two satellite dishes. Re-installing two satellite dishes at ground
level. Install modified bitumen roofing system over insulation on
existing steel roof deck. Install new cants, base flashing, edge
flashing, metal built-in gutter and flashing at roof penetrations.
Install cement board finish at walls of hanger door enclosure above
roof. The area of work in this project is approximately 105 squares and
is 25 feet above grade. The estimated cost range is $25,000 to
$100,000. Work to be accomplished at: The work shall be located at the
U.S. Coast Guard (CG) Aviation Training Center, Mobile, Alabama. This
CG facility is located at the north side of Bates Airport, accessible
by way of Tanner Williams Road. This project falls within a designated
industry group subject to the small business competitiveness
demonstration program and is unrestricted due to its anticipated dollar
value. This notice is for informational purposes for Minority,

Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business
Utilization (OSDBU), has a program to assist minority, woman-owned and
disadvantaged business enterprises to acquire short-term working
