16 -- AIRCRAFT COMPONENTS AND ACCESSORIES The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to issue a task order, on an other than full and open competition basis, to an existing Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00019-96-G-2050, with Chadwick-Helmuth Company Incorporated, 4601 North Arden Drive, El Monte, CA 91731-1299. This task order will be to develop support equipment software to run on the 8500C track and balance analyzer to implement a new maintenance task to lower the vibration levels of the H-46 high-speed shaft. Chadwick-Helmuth is the sole designer, developer, and manufacturer of the 8500C track and balance analyzer system, and the only firm that possesses the necessary knowledge, experience, and technical data required to perform these efforts within the limited time constraints of the Navy.
