THE ANNUAL RAF LAKENHEATH (ENGLAND)IT EXPOSITION On Thursday, March 4, 1999 the Base Communications Squadron of RAF Lakenheath (England) will be hosting its annual IT Exposition. RAF Lakenheath is home to the 48th Fighter Wing. The 48th Fighter Wing's leadership is responsible for training, supporting, and employing a combat fighter wing that includes one F-15C and two F-15E squadrons. Wing personnel execute war plans of the United States in Europe, US European Command and the personnel execute war plans of the United States in Europe, US European Command and the NATO. The Wing is capable of mobilizing for all US and NATO objectives. All RAF Lakenheath personnel will be invited to the event including the largest USAFE Medical Group and RAF Feltwell/5th Space Surveillance Squadron. There are over 6,500 personnel located at RAF Lakenheath.
