originally publicized in the CBD dated 1/06/99. Incorporate the
following into the subject solicitation: After initial hose delivery,
USCG will ship the used 2.5, 3, and 4inch hose assemblies back to the
contractor. New hose material pending a hydro test using the following
test conditions: All hose assy's will be hydro tested prior to
delivery. Contractor to furnish hydro test acceptance sheet(s) upon
delivery. Any hose failing shall be re-newed or re-claimed and tested
prior to delivery. The following are the test conditions: 2.5 in hose
assy tested to 170 psi, 3.0 in hose assy tested to 170 psi, 4.0 in hose
assy tested to 100 psi, 5.0 in hose assy tested to 100 psi In addition,
contractor to furnish flanges information sheets indicating; material
type, flange configuration, and associated industry specification
applicable to Paxman Valenta 16RP200M,16 Cylinders. Hose workmanship
shall be warranted for a period of 30 days after installation. If
during the period a hose fails to meet operational requirements,
contractor will furnish a new tested hose assy at no cost to USCG.
Warranty claim hose will be sent back to the contractor. Due to the
installation of the 2.5in hose assy, the USCG will furnish the
contractor the required over the flange length of the existing hose
assemblies installed to ensure proper fit. The information will be
provided NLT three weeks prior to the delivery date. All other
information publicized in the original synopsis is correct. Posted
