seeking information from potential sources who can replace or improve
the existing hydraulic high pressure transmitters (JAEGER part numbers
1-1118ZF and 1-1118ZG) currently installed in its fleet of 30
operational aircraft. The pressure transmitter must provide remote

hydraulic systems, and at low pressure, internal switching to operate
an external warning lamp. The operating pressures are 0-5000 PSI for
the primary hydraulic transmitter (P/N 1-1118ZF) and 0-3500 PSI for the
standby hydraulic transmitter (P/N 1-1118ZG). A complete information
package containing reliability and technical specifications will be
required. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. The purpose of this
announcement is to determine if a suitable replacement or improvement
to the existing pressure transmitters is available. The Coast Guard
will not entertain any major modification to the aircraft during
installation. Organizations having the required expertise and
capabilities are invited and encouraged to submit complete information
discussing possible solutions to the replacement or improvement to the
existing system. Comments do not constitute a proposal; rather, will be
considered as an open exchange of capabilities and ideas. The
information contained therein shall pertain to this synopsis only. The

interested organization must submit their data in writing within 15
days of this announcement to the addresses given above. Respondents
