Kelley, 202-273-1468 The Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts seeks a Contractor to operate a cafeteria at the U.S. District Court in Greenbelt, MD on a profit and loss basis. For the first six months the contractor will be charged a nominal fee of $1.00 in lieu of rent, after the six months has expired this amount will be reassessed depending on the gross sales. There will be a performance bond requirement of $12,500.00. Contractor will provide breakfast and lunch service Monday through Friday except federal holidays in a building with approximately 190 employees. Additionally, on a daily basis approximately 250 additional individuals attending court proceedings or conducting other business. Service shall be on small wares for eat in and disposables for carry out. The dinning facility on the first floor, street level which seats 56, is 2,000 square feet and includes the food preparation and storage area which is 875 square feet.
