Painting and preparation to include stair systems, grates, and pipes as stated in drawings. Stairs shall be inspected and some repair and welding is anticipated. Currently, the tank is coated with a lead base paint which must be removed, contained, and disposed of. The tank with stairs and appurtenances shall be coated with a three coat paint system. Tank size is 48 feet tall by 60 feet in diameter. Additive bid item (1) consists of cleaning, preparing and painting a second bulk fuel storage tank. The same criteria as listed above applies to the ABI. The second tank is 48 feet tall by 48 feet in diameter. This procurement is 100% set aside for small business concerns. Performance period is for 60 days after receipt of the Notice To Proceed. Should the additive bid item be awarded, performance time is 45 days for that item. All work is to be performed at Otis ANGB, Cape Cod Massachusetts. Technical POC is Bob Burt at (508) 968-4234. The estimated magnitude of construction for the base bid is $25,000.00 to $100,000.00. The estimated magnitude of construction for the ABI is $25,000.00 to $100,000.00.
