This facility is a 33,500 SF maintenance shop for the 908th Air Force Reserve Unit at Maxwell AFB, AL. The building will consist of a pre-engineered metal frame, standing seam metal roof, CMU walls with an EIFS exterior. Project features include: administrative space, open shop space, monorail cranes, compressed air system, parking lot, landscaping and utilities. The contractor will be responsible for the relocation and installation of existing shop equipment. Bid documents are available on or about 29 January 1999. Estimated cost of work is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Requests for plans and specifications shall indicate in writing whether firm will bid as a prime contractor or a subcontractor. All bid forms, bid bonds, and other normal documents required for the bid submittal, including amendments to the bid submittal, shall be in paper medium.
