NASA/GSFC plans to issue Request for Quotation (RFQ)5-17372-905 on a sole source basis for the following: 1 year of hardware and software maintenance for quantity 2 DST 812 Ampex Library Systems (3 drive units). The software maintenance will include updates as released. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). NASA/GSFC intends to purchase the items from AMPEX DATA SYSTEMS as they are the only provider of this service. The Authority is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), Only One Responsible Source. Interested firms have 21 days from the publication of this synopsis to submit in writing to the identified point of contact, their qualifications/capabilities.
