BUSINESSES. The project includes 2 phases. Phase 1 work includes
providing improvements and repairs to 47 family housing units,
including 46 three bedroom units in eight buildings on Yuma Road and
Waterview Court, and one four bedroom unit (Building 1508 GOQ) located
on Arkansas Avenue. Phase 2 includes 56 additional units. All units
are located at Andrews AFB. This procurement will be conducted
utilizing source selection procedures and will result in a firm fixed
price construction contract. Evaluation of proposals will be based on
price, and non-price items, including Relevant Experience, Work Plan,
and Past Performance. The estimated cost range exceeds $10 Million.
Solicitation issuance 1/18/99. Proposals due 2/18/99. For PURCHASING
solicitation: A non-refundable charge of $90 per RFP is required and
checks should be made out to "US Treasury". You may purchase the RFP in
person at Bldg 143-1, Washington Navy Yard, SE, DC, or submit request
in writing (along with payment) to Defense Printing Service Detachment
Office, Attn: Kevin Gable, 901 M Street, SE, Bldg 143-1, Washington
Navy Yard, Washington, DC 20374-5030. Fax or internet requests for the
RFP will not be honored. Solicitation will be issued on a first-come
