transportation and supervision required to remove three (3) air
handling units from a suspended ceiling, remove associated ductwork,
diffusers, supply and return water piping and wiring and patch one
fresh air intake opening in EPDM roof. Remove and dispose of
approximately 3500 SF of acoustical ceiling tile and grid. Install a
new indoor air handling unit, supply and return air ductwork, supply
and return water piping and associated power and control wiring.
Install approximately 3500 square ft. of acoustical ceiling tile and
grid. Install approximately 3500 square ft. of R-30 batt insulation
above the new acoustical ceiling tile. Insulate all new heating/cooling
water supply, return piping and approximately 40 lineal ft. of existing
water piping located above the suspended ceiling. The project may
include removal and disposal of approximately 3500 square ft. of
asbestos containing acoustical ceiling tile. Asbestos tests are being
performed and results will be available prior to award. Location of the
project is USCG Integrated Support Command, Portsmouth, VA. The SIC
code assigned to this project is 1711. Estimated range of the project
is between $100,000 and $250,000. There is no charge for the specs. and
