Andrews Air Force Base seeks your expression of interest and any suggestions regarding Andrews desire to develop a commercial Performance Work Statement for the Maintenance and Repair of 2061 Military Family Housing. The service includes but is not limited to Maintenance Management, Maintenance Service Calls, Change of Occupancy Maintenance, Recurring Equipment Maintenance, Cleaning, Carpet Repair & Maintenance, Painting, Chimney Cleaning, Furnace and Air Filter changes, Locksmith services, Electrical Maintenance, Snow Removal, appliance Replacement, Gutter Maintenance, Tree Trimming, all other Interior & Exterior Maintenance. Small businesses are encouraged to participate. The responses to this sources sought shall address the applicability of FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. Contractor's who feel that this acquisition can meet the definition of a Commercial Service found in FAR Part 12, should provide the following: customary practices regarding customizing, modifying or tailoring of services to meet customary practices; the requirement of any laws and regulations unique to the services being acquired; customary practices regarding quality assurance procedures and other terms and conditions that would govern this type of acquisition.
