NO. 1 TO THE COMBINED SYNOPSIS/RFQ FOR " Test Thermal Conductivity ".
Companies shall acknowledge all amendment(s) in their quote. This
notice serves as the official amendment to subject synopsis/RFQ and a
written amendment will not be issued. The purpose of this amendment is
to revise the specifications for Items 1 and 2 as follows: Revised
Item 1: Test Thermal conductivity of Cu-Cr-Nb alloys from minus 196
degrees C (liquid nitrogen) to room temperature using the Kohlrausch
technique. Include an estimate of the thermal conductivity between
liquid nitrogen and liquid hydrogen.Temperatures are to remain the same
as the original specifications. -- Revised Item 2: Test thermal
conductivity of Cu-Cr-Nb alloys from room temperature to 900 degrees C
using the laser flash technique. Also supply the thermal diffusivity
and heat capacity with the thermal conductivity. Temperatures are to
remain the same as the original specifications. NOTE: If the original
specifications for Item 1 read,in part, "Item 1 -- Cryogenic
Conductivity: Thermal diffusivity testing shall be conducted from 200C
1150C to -- -2000C 1250C (liquid nitrogen temperature) " then other
numeric specifications are probably incorrect also. Please contact the

is not extended. Companies shall provide the information stated in the

PowerPoint 4.0) format and reside on the World Wide Web (WWW) server
