Dickey, Contract Specialist, 913-758-6465; Fax 913-758-6495 The VA Heartland Network 15 Department of Veterans Affairs intends to negotiate a sole source procurement with Picker International Inc., 1867 Craig Road, St. Louis, MO 63146. The Contractor shall provide the VA Medical Center at 915 North Grand Ave., St. Louis, MO with replacement parts required for the maintenance and repair of the Picker Magnetic Resonance Imaging equipment located at this site. Labor to install the parts is not included. In the event that the VA Medical Center personnel are unable to repair equipment after reasonable efforts, Contractor, if necessary and upon the VA Medical Center's request, shall provide on-site assistance during the Contractor's normal working hours. Contractor shall also provide Customer Equipment Service License including updates, Customer Diagnostic Software with supporting documenation and updates, telephone assistance, access to Contractor's parts ordering and parts identification services and on-site assistance up to a maximum of 60 hours annually to assistmedical center personnel. Work shall be performed in accordance with the scope of work provided in the solicitation. The period of the contract will be for one (1) base year, with option to extend three (3) additional one year periods. Solicitation will be issued o/a 1/4/99.
