In addition, as an option, a replacement system is sought for the Attitude Heading Reference System (AHRS) A/A24G-39 currently used in the CH-53E and MH-53E helicopters. The proposed replacement system shall be a plug-in replacement, and is required to operate within the parameters of the existing aircraft configuration. All offers submitted shall have a system with guaranteed high Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) and be warranted for a minimum of fifteen (15) years. The estimated quantity of replacement SAHRS systems to be procured is between 122 and 130 systems. The estimated quantity of replacement AHRS Systems to be procured is between 216 and 400 systems.
