Reference Small Business Administration (SBA) Requirement Number 0464-99-900878, Shaw AFB, SC seeks to identify all qualified (Local) South Carolina 8(a) construction contractors interested in performing construction for Shaw AFB, SC on a competitive basis. The geographic area of competition is limited to South Carolina. Shaw AFB proposes to establish Basic Agreements with all interested (qualified) firms for the purpose of streamlining the acquisition process for awarding projects set-aside for SBA 8(a) program participation. Request all interested firms respond in writing no later than 15 January 1999 and include: (1) written certification/verification of current participation in the 8(a) Program; and, (2) written certification/verification of compliance with 8(a) competitive mix requirements and all other applicable SBA 8(a) program reporting requirements verified by the Assistant District Director for 8(a) Business Development of the South Carolina District Office.
