Solicitation F38610-99-R0007. Project No. DKFX 95-1066. Estimated cost is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. Performance time is projected for 500 days. Work to be performed includes, but is not limited to civil work to install a new gas line connected to the base natural gas distribution system and removal of exterior steam piping. Interior architectural work includes repair and coating of interior insulated hangar wall panels, floor coating systems, carpet, construction of masonry partitions, renovations to toilet, shower, janitor's parts, and break rooms, installation of acoustical ceilings, and other various interior renovations. Exterior architectural work includes, installation of brick veneer wainscot, repair of hangar doors, repair of personnel doors in the hangar doors, roof repairs, and installation of a concrete ramp and landing. HVAC work includes replacing cooling and heating units, rework existing ductwork system, and installing a new natural gas fired hot water boiler. Plumbing and electrical work is also to be completed on the project, to include adding showers, replacing a water heater, replacing a water cooler, modifying a sprinkler system, electrical work to include removal of service entrance main breaker and switchgear, lighting/distibution panelboards, HID hi-bay lighting fixtures and various connections to mechanical equipment. The removal of asbestos containing material and items coated with lead based paint will be required. This contract will be awarded utilizing full and open competition.
