The work includes the removal and disposal of existing gravel surfaced multi-ply built-up roof systems, bituminous and asbestos containing bituminous flashings, sheet metal flashings, wood blocking, lightweight concrete crickets, scupper/conductor heads, roof drains, downspouts, roof monitor window assemblies and associated operators, cementitious asbestos siding on monitors, terra cotta coping on firewalls, exterior lighting fixtures, caged access ladder, fire hose connections; the removal and reinstallation of; existing lightning protection system, existing rooftop mechanical equipment; and the installation of new gypsum and felt underlayment, multilayer roof insullation, wood blocking, plywood, EPDM roofing and flashing, sheet metal flashing, edge metal and coping, gutter assemblies, roof drains, downspouts, monitor window assemblies with operators, exterior insulation finish systems on monitor walls and top portions of main building walls, lighting fixtures, caged access ladder, structural augmentation of existing wood joists where indicated, electrical lighting replacement, and incidental related work.
