NOTICE OF INTENT TO NEGOTIATE A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT WITH CADMUS GROUP, INC. Notice of Intent to negotiate a sole source contract under authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii) with CADMUS Group, Inc., 135 Beaver Street, Waltham, MA 02154. The CADMUS Group, Inc. shall complete the development and application of ecological risk based models for Upper Mississippi River fish, plants, and mussels integrating commercial navigation traffic scenarios resulting from any proposed improvements and hydrodynamic effects. An ecological risk assessment shall be conducted and interpreted for presentation to Upper Mississippi River region stakeholders and decision-makers. The contractor shall assist in the preparation of an Environmental Impact Statement including participation in Public and Inter Agency meetings concerning environmental impacts. The proposed action is for services for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authoirty cited above. This Notice is not a request for competitive quotes but responses received on or before February 10, 1999, 4:00 p.m. CST will be evaluated. A determination by the Contracting Officer not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer.
